DakotaPrideModding - Mod Development/Texture Design
Hello! I am a mod developer and texture/model artist! If you're here, more than likely you already know this, but it doesn't hurt to clarify here and there.
Commissions Open!
I am taking commissions for mod development and texture design! Some of my previous projects can be found below for reference!
Do keep in mind that some tasks might be outside of my skillset! If this happens to be the case, I'll make sure to let you know and, if possible, come up with a worthy alternative to meet your needs!
Pricing
While it highly depends on the given project, for a relatively bare bones mod development project - similar to the Carl mod linked below - pricing starts at about $15 USD. There's also the variable of time that it takes to actually develop the mod and get it to a state that you are happy with, so do keep that in mind.
For texture design (standalone) pricing has the same rules, but starts at $10 USD for a small texture or two, but increases with the amount of time and effort that the textures you need require. An example of a project that requires little to no texture work is the Create: Mechanical Botany mod. However, a project such as Happy Pride Moth! or Create: Garnished Reworked, required significantly more effort to be put into them texture design-wise and would be priced around $30-$40 USD.The Process
This will be different per project, but for moderate to large scale projects, I'll check in with you once I've made a significant amount of progress on the commission.
On smaller scale projects, it's likely that I'll complete the commission in a very short amount of time depending on bugs or other issues encountered during development or designing.
During these check-ins, if you feel like I'm going in a direction that you do not wish to continue with or if you'd like some changes made, feel free to ask! It is my responsibility to ensure that you are happy with the final product!
Final Steps of the Commission
Once the full commission is complete, you will be asked to provide payment through PayPal, Buy me a Coffee, or Ko-Fi. The exact details of how the payment is transferred are negotiable, but you'll likely pay in full prior to me sending over the file(s) unless you're someone I trust dearly to hold up their end of the exchange. (close friends, trusted members of a given community, etc.)
